Waking Vixen Productions

Waking Vixen Productions creates sex positive media and culture that gets people thinking, but is also sexy and fun. Every Waking Vixen project integrates valuable content with online promotion and buzz through social media.

Online
The Internet is the cornerstone of all Waking Vixen projects, whether as an end in and of itself or as part of the process. Audacia Ray’s blog WakingVixen.com has played a major role in shaping the sex-positive internet over the past several years, and she continues to use a variety of tactics to promote her and others’ work.

Art Shows
Audacia launched her career in sex at the Museum of Sex, where she worked on the museum’s inaugural show, NYC Sex: How New York City Transformed Sex in America. Since then, she has curated two annual sex worker art shows for $pread magazine entitled Sex Worker Visions, and now curates bi-monthly erotic art shows at Arena Studios in SoHo. Waking Vixen Productions approaches erotic art as a valuable addition to the canon and a part of the scope of sex culture and media.
