This is not about developing a thick skin (how has hardness ever healed or helped anyone?), it is all about feeling at home in your own skin. And you do and you share that, and God fucking bless you for it. It’s a vital fuck you to our visually dominant world and therapeutic culture. I know it isn’t the most flattering picture of me, but its also shot with a fisheye lens and then photoshopped for the extra-freaky look, so scary is kinda the point. From a glance, it should be pretty obvious that the pic has been altered a bit… but whatever. Let them say what they say.

Vixen - I could give the finger to beauty culture all day…but there are definitely people who appreciate your assets nonetheless - and not just the glasses! As someone who lives in the US Southwest borderlands and has a baby who’s got some back - I can attest lots of spanish speakers ‘round here looove the booty.
