Body rhythms

Last night I did some calculations and realized: I have not yet had sex in 2005.
I know this seems preposterous, but it’s true. Well, maybe this needs some clarification: I have not yet this year produced an orgasm knowingly (you guys beating off to my posts doesn’t count) in someone else for fun, only for profit. I have produced plenty of orgasms for myself – I seem to be on a major kick of self-love.
How is it that someone so oversexed hasn’t actually been having sex? It turns out that the people I most want to be having sex with seem to be settled into different body rhythms than me. I’ve been sick, they’ve been sick, we’ve all been horny but not at the same time or same place. The last two weeks have not seen a moment when there’s been a click between the different body rhythms, we keep missing each other.
Body rhythms are strange beats, beats that have no metronome that can make them steady and in synch.
